Materials for this collection: acrylic, ink, gold leaf and epoxy resin on hardboard. Om Mani Padme Hum is a mantra which is said to encapsulate all of the Buddha's wisdom. I first discovered this mantra in the foothills and mountains of the Himalaya while travellig there as a teenager. It was carved into huge boulders and rock walls and was imprinted with remarkable precision, symmetry and beauty. It is said that reading, writing or reciting this mantra brings great blessings.
