This 2018 Plant Medicine series is comprised of acrylic, ink, gold leaf and resin on hardboard. Over twenty years ago, a quirky read titled The Secret Life of Plants inspired an ongoing investigation into the true nature of plants, and the discovery that not only do plants have inherent wisdom and the ability to communicate that wisdom, but they also contain within them antidotes to mental and physical imbalance. This series of paintings is a personal bow to the potent power of plants and all they have to teach us.
